Terms of Service

1. About Mango Arcade

Mango Arcade is a collection of casual games designed primarily to be playable offline.

The App may include:

• single-player games;
• local multiplayer games;
• scores, statistics, streaks and achievements;
• unlockable content and cosmetic items;
• an in-game virtual currency known as "Seeds";
• advertising;
• optional rewarded advertising; and
• an optional one-time purchase to remove certain advertising.

Some features, including advertisements, purchases and purchase restoration, may require an internet connection.

2. Licence to Use the App

Harlech Games grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to download and use Mango Arcade for your own personal and non-commercial use.

You do not acquire ownership of Mango Arcade or any of its content.

Unless permitted by law, you must not:

• copy, redistribute or commercially exploit the App;
• modify or create unauthorised versions of the App;
• reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the App;
• bypass or interfere with security, advertising, purchasing or game systems;
• use automated tools, bots, scripts or other methods to manipulate gameplay or rewards; or
• use Mango Arcade in an unlawful manner.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

3. Accounts and Game Data

Mango Arcade does not currently require you to create an account.

Game information such as progress, scores, achievements, streaks, settings, Seeds and unlocked content may be stored locally on your device.

Because this information may be stored locally, it may be lost if you:

• uninstall Mango Arcade;
• clear the App's data;
• reset your device;
• lose or replace your device; or
• experience device or storage failure.

Your device or operating system may separately provide backup functionality. Harlech Games does not guarantee that locally stored game data can be recovered or transferred between devices.

We are not responsible for the loss of locally stored game progress where that loss results from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

4. Seeds

Mango Arcade may use an in-game virtual currency called Seeds.

Seeds can be earned by playing Mango Arcade and participating in eligible in-game activities.

Unless expressly stated otherwise within the App:

• Seeds cannot be purchased using real money;
• Seeds have no real-world monetary or cash value;
• Seeds cannot be exchanged for money;
• Seeds cannot be redeemed outside Mango Arcade;
• Seeds cannot be sold or transferred to another person or account;
• Seeds cannot be traded for cryptocurrency, gift cards or other real-world goods or services; and
• Seeds exist solely for use within Mango Arcade.

Seeds are not money, electronic money, cryptocurrency, stored value or a financial product.

Your Seed balance represents a limited permission to use certain functionality within Mango Arcade and does not represent ownership of money or property.

5. Earning Seeds

The amount of Seeds awarded may depend on factors such as:

• games played;
• game results;
• scores;
• achievements;
• milestones;
• challenges;
• streaks; or
• other gameplay activities.

We may change how Seeds are earned, including reward amounts and qualifying activities, where reasonably necessary to balance, maintain, improve or develop the game.

We may also introduce new ways to earn Seeds or discontinue existing methods.

6. Using Seeds and the In-Game Shop

Seeds may be exchanged within Mango Arcade for eligible virtual items, features, cosmetics or other in-game content displayed in the App.

The Seed price of an item will be displayed before it is obtained.

Items obtained using Seeds:

• are virtual items only;
• have no cash value;
• cannot be exchanged for money;
• cannot normally be transferred to another user; and
• are licensed for use within Mango Arcade rather than sold as real-world property.

We may add, remove or change virtual items and their Seed prices as the game develops.

Where reasonably possible, changes will not intentionally remove access to an item you have already legitimately unlocked unless required for technical, legal, security or operational reasons.

7. Manipulation, Exploits and Cheating

You must not deliberately manipulate the Seed system or other game systems.

This includes:

• modifying locally stored game data to create Seeds;
• using modified or unauthorised versions of Mango Arcade;
• exploiting bugs specifically to generate excessive or unintended rewards;
• interfering with purchase verification;
• manipulating advertisements or advertising rewards;
• using automation to generate game rewards; or
• otherwise attempting to obtain virtual items or advantages in a way that was not intended by the game.

If we reasonably determine that Seeds, virtual items, scores or other progress were generated through manipulation or exploitation, we may correct or remove the affected game data where technically possible.

Reporting a bug or accidentally encountering an issue will not itself be treated as abuse.

8. Advertising

Mango Arcade is supported by advertising.

Advertising may be provided by third-party advertising providers, including Google AdMob.

Advertisements may require an internet connection and may be unavailable at certain times or in certain locations.

Harlech Games does not control the content, availability or services offered by third-party advertisers, although we configure advertising in accordance with the requirements applicable to Mango Arcade and its audience.

9. Rewarded Advertising

Mango Arcade may offer optional rewarded advertisements.

A rewarded advertisement is an advertisement that you actively choose to watch in return for a clearly stated in-game benefit.

Rewarded adverts are optional and are not required to access the core games within Mango Arcade.

Where a reward is offered, the reward and any applicable conditions will be displayed within the App.

Harlech Games cannot guarantee that a rewarded advertisement will always be available because advertising availability may depend on third-party advertising providers, connectivity, geographic location and other factors outside our control.

10. Remove Ads Purchase

Mango Arcade may offer an optional one-time "Remove Ads" purchase.

The exact price is shown within the App and by the relevant app store before you complete the purchase.

Unless otherwise stated at the point of purchase, purchasing Remove Ads removes automatic advertising such as banner and full-screen advertisements from Mango Arcade.

Optional rewarded advertisements may remain available because these are voluntarily selected by the player in exchange for an in-game benefit.

The Remove Ads purchase does not provide ownership of Mango Arcade and does not affect these Terms.

11. Payments

Payments for the Remove Ads feature are processed by the platform from which you obtained Mango Arcade, such as:

• Apple App Store; or
• Google Play.

Harlech Games does not directly process or store your payment card details.

Your purchase is also subject to the payment terms and conditions of the relevant app store.

Prices may vary by country, currency, tax requirements and app store pricing.

12. Restoring Purchases

Where supported by the relevant platform, Mango Arcade may provide functionality allowing eligible purchases to be restored.

Restoration may depend on:

• using the same Apple ID or Google account used for the original purchase;
• the purchase remaining recognised by the relevant app store; and
• the technical functionality provided by Apple or Google.

If you experience problems restoring a legitimate purchase, please contact Harlech Games through the support contact provided for Mango Arcade.

13. Refunds

Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are processed by the relevant platform.

Refund requests may therefore be subject to Apple's or Google's applicable refund procedures and consumer protection requirements.

Nothing in these Terms restricts any statutory rights you may have, including rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

14. Children and Families

Mango Arcade is designed for a general audience that may include children.

The App does not currently require users to create accounts or provide their name, email address or other personal profile information to Harlech Games.

Advertising and data handling within Mango Arcade are described in our Privacy Policy.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to supervise children's use of devices, app stores and in-app purchases using the parental controls provided by Apple, Google or the relevant device platform.

15. Notifications

If you give Mango Arcade permission to send notifications, the App may send optional notifications relating to features such as gameplay reminders or daily streaks.

You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings.

16. Updates and Changes to Mango Arcade

We may update Mango Arcade from time to time.

Updates may:

• add new games;
• remove or replace games;
• change gameplay mechanics;
• fix bugs;
• improve performance or security;
• change achievements or rewards;
• adjust the Seed economy;
• add, change or remove virtual items;
• change advertising behaviour;
• introduce new features; or
• remove features that are no longer supported.

We may also require you to install an updated version of Mango Arcade to continue using certain functionality.

We will take reasonable care when making material changes to purchased functionality and will respect any consumer rights that apply.

17. Availability

We aim to keep Mango Arcade available and functional but cannot guarantee that every feature will always operate without interruption or error.

Features may temporarily become unavailable because of:

• maintenance;
• software bugs;
• device compatibility issues;
• operating system updates;
• internet connectivity;
• third-party service outages;
• advertising provider availability;
• Apple App Store or Google Play services; or
• circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Because Mango Arcade is primarily designed for offline gameplay, loss of internet connectivity should not normally prevent access to supported offline games, although online-dependent functionality may be unavailable.

18. Third-Party Services

Mango Arcade may use third-party services including services supplied by Google and Apple.

These may include:

• Google AdMob;
• Google Mobile Ads SDK;
• Google User Messaging Platform;
• Google Play Billing;
• Google Play services;
• Apple App Store;
• Apple StoreKit; and
• operating-system services.

These third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

Harlech Games is not responsible for independent services provided by third parties except where applicable law provides otherwise.

19. Intellectual Property

Mango Arcade and its original content are owned by or licensed to Harlech Games.

This may include:

• the Mango Arcade name and branding;
• Harlech Games branding;
• software and source code;
• user-interface designs;
• artwork;
• icons;
• graphics;
• animations;
• sounds;
• game designs;
• text;
• achievements; and
• other original content.

These Terms do not grant you permission to use Harlech Games' intellectual property outside your personal use of Mango Arcade.

Third-party names, trademarks and content remain the property of their respective owners.

20. Feedback

If you voluntarily send us suggestions, ideas or feedback about Mango Arcade, you give us permission to consider and use that feedback to improve our products without an obligation to compensate you.

You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights you already hold in material you provide to us.

21. Suspension or Termination

You can stop using Mango Arcade at any time by uninstalling the App.

We may restrict access to functionality where reasonably necessary to:

• protect the App or its users;
• prevent fraud or abuse;
• comply with legal requirements;
• address serious violations of these Terms; or
• protect our intellectual property or services.

Because Mango Arcade does not currently use player accounts, our ability to restrict an individual user's access may be technically limited.

22. Disclaimers

We develop Mango Arcade with reasonable care and skill.

However, we do not guarantee that the App will:

• always be uninterrupted;
• be completely free from bugs or technical errors;
• operate indefinitely on every device or operating system version; or
• always retain locally stored game data.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any guarantee, warranty, obligation or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

23. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to applicable law, Harlech Games will not be responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you began using Mango Arcade or losses arising from use of the App for business or commercial purposes.

Mango Arcade is provided for personal and recreational use.

Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

24. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us.

Our Privacy Policy explains:

• what information Harlech Games does and does not collect;
• information stored locally on your device;
• advertising and Google AdMob;
• children's privacy;
• third-party services;
• data retention;
• your privacy choices; and
• how to contact us about privacy matters.

The current Mango Arcade Privacy Policy is available on the Harlech Games website.

25. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when Mango Arcade, applicable laws, app-store requirements or our services change.

When we update these Terms, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and publish the latest version.

If a change materially affects your rights or use of Mango Arcade, we will take reasonable steps to make the change clear where appropriate.

Your continued use of Mango Arcade following an update means the latest Terms will apply to your subsequent use, subject to any rights you have under applicable law.

26. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws that apply where you live.

If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction, you may also have rights to bring proceedings in your local courts where applicable law provides those rights.

Nothing in these Terms deprives you of mandatory consumer protections that apply under the law of your country of residence.
